The Law of the Conservation of Apostrophes

I know you've all heard of the Law of Conservation of Mass. Now I introduce a new theory: the Law of Conservation of Apostrophes. This states that wherever a text passage is published with an extra/incorrect apostrophe, another one disappears from some other text passage where it belongs. Can you find examples?
